Pastor Bill South was saved April 19, 1981, at Faith Baptist Church in Lexington, KY, under the preaching of Dr. Don Strange. Pastor South attended Hyles-Anderson College in Hammond, IN, for the first part of his college education and then transferred to Tabernacle Baptist Bible College in Greenville, SC to complete his education and where he also met and married his wife, Deborah Young. He graduated in May of 1990 with a Bachelor of Theology. God allowed Pastor South the privilege of working with Pastor Jack Holden at Fellowship Baptist Church in Duncan, SC, for two years before moving him and his family to East Bernstadt, KY, to pastor Calvary Baptist Temple. He was there for 6 years until God again moved him and his family to Grace Baptist Church where he has pastored since March 1998.
Pastor South and his wife, Deborah, have three children - Rebekah, Robert and Timothy. Rebekah is married to David Viers and they live in South Carolina and faithfully attend and serve at Pleasantview Baptist Church in Taylors, SC. Robert is the song leader at Grace Baptist and Timothy helps run the sound system at Grace and faithfully participates in teen soul winning and visitation.
